Who We Are
JKSL’s founder John, served in the British Military and had an exemplary 24-year career. During his time in the military, he got involved in health and safety and realised he was passionate about keeping people safe. When he left the military in 2007, he was employed by a Health and Safety company. After several years, he realised he had gained the knowledge, the skills and the experience to start his own company.
JKSL was formed in 2016, and we provide health and safety services to various industries, but predominantly to the live events and entertainment industry. John and his team have a wealth of knowledge and a vast amount of experience. We’ve worked on festivals, concerts, light trails, TV and film, multi-million-pound weddings, and many other events around the world.
As well as being one of the leading health and safety providers within the Event industry, we have also helped people on their journey to form their own health and safety companies.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour
We were the chosen health and safety providers for the world’s biggest artist on the world’s biggest tour in 2024, we were responsible for the safety at 13 shows in 4 venues across the UK, Murrayfield Stadium, Anfield Stadium, Principality Stadium, and Wembley Stadium.

Ed Sheeran
We provided the event safety for 4 sold out shows in Roundhay Park, Leeds and Chantry Park, Ipswich. We also produced the Event Safety Management Plans in order for licences to be issued.

Akash Ambani Pre Wedding-Celebrations’
We were the chosen health and safety specialists to look after the health and safety of four nights of celebrations across San Moritz in Switzerland for the son of Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia. This involved building an entire village on the frozen lake, taking over the Badrutts Palace Hotel and Indoor tennis court, building an indoor ice rink in a giant marquee with fairground rides.

We provided the health and safety expertise for this event which took place in Cheshire (UK), New York, (USA), Washington (USA), Groenenburg (Belgium) and Dallas (USA). Working overseas is never straightforward in terms of health and safety as a lot of countries don’t apply the same standards as the UK, by applying UK standards to each event we work on we ensure the highest possible safety record is achieved.
